Description
it would be great if it was possible to set one apt-zeroconf box in the network to be "greedy", that is,
- to leech packages from other computers on the lan, or
- to make others route all requests via that greedy box. (i'd prefer the first solution.)
the intended use case is a network with a most-times-on "server" and several laptops, which are often down. scenario: one laptop loads an update, it is cached on the server, first laptop goes down, second laptop fetches update from server. almost like apt-proxy, but without the configuration problems in other lans (zero conf, literally), plus it does not depend on the server.
